Participants will learn valuable life skills while being immersed in their community. They will hardly know they are learning with all the fun they are having, but don't be fooled, the learning is happening. Their independent living skills will grow through their interactions with peers, community members and staff.
Each camp day, participants will go out into the community for a fun activity. Participants will be dropped off and picked up from CLUBLIFE. They will start their day with choice rec/leisure activites and work on team work and independent living skills while in the building. Then we will participate in a community activity where they will be able to generalize their new skills with the help and support of staff.
Day 4 Community Activity: Lake Day @ Pleasant Lake
- Don't forget to bring a bathing suit and towel.
