About the event
This programming will allow participants and safe space to work on independent living skills, while promoting friendships and seeking age appropriate recreation and leisure skills. Increased Community mobility is also a main focus of this programming and participants can expect to take part in community mobility activities such as:
Shopping
Attending the YMCA
Art Classes
Music Classes
Physical Activity/Fitness Classes
The current programming will allow the participants to choose activities such as:
Leisure Time
Healthy Physical Activity
Cooking Class
Arts & Crafts
Board Games
Music Time
Light Snacks and Lunch will be provided. Participants must be able to have transportation to and from the event.
If a participant requires 1:1 assistance, we will ask that a caregiver attend programming with them.
