Re-Engagement Policy - COVID 19
We at CLUBLIFE are ready to return to In-Person Events, however we know that life has changed and so we need to change as well. We ask that our staff, partners, participants and stakeholders review and abide to our new guidelines set forward.
Guiding Principles
-
An event or gathering refers to a planned or spontaneous event, indoors or outdoors, with a small number of people participating or a large number of people in attendance such as a community event or gathering, concert, festival, conference, parade, wedding, or sporting event.
-
The more people an individual interacts with at a gathering and the longer that interaction lasts, the higher the potential risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 and COVID-19 spreading.
-
The higher the level of community transmission in the area that the gathering is being held, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spreading during a gathering.
-
Our events and gatherings will be determined based on state, local, territorial or tribal safety laws and regulations.
The risk of COVID-19 spreading at events and gatherings increases as follows:
-
Lowest risk: Virtual-only activities, events, and gatherings.
-
More risk: Smaller outdoor and in-person gatherings in which individuals from different households remain spaced at least 6 feet apart, wear cloth face coverings, do not share objects, and come from the same local area (e.g., community, town, city, or county).
-
Higher risk: Medium-sized in-person gatherings that are adapted to allow individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and with attendees coming from outside the local area.
-
Highest risk: Large in-person gatherings where it is difficult for individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area.
Physical Distancing
-
Physical Distancing of 3-6ft will be encouraged at all events.
-
When we begin to engage in indoor events, we will reduce capacities, if necessary, in order to ensure physical distancing. In events such as bowling, we will space groups out by using empty tables or “dark” lanes.
-
CLUBLIFE participants and staff will be encouraged not to linger before or after events.
-
CLUBLIFE staff will assist in directing participants to their designated spaces for events to limit congregating.
Enhanced Cleaning Practices
-
Shared materials will be highly discouraged. However, when necessary, all materials will be disinfected after each use (e.g. bowling shoes, drumming sticks, exercise mats, etc).
-
Disposable products will be used whenever possible.
-
Frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected regularly, prior to and after events.
Employee Wellness
-
All staff will be provided and expected to complete the following training before resuming to work:
-
Coronavirus Prevention Course
-
Coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19, is a recently discovered respiratory disease. While this virus is new and many people are concerned about its spread, taking the same general precautions used to prevent flu and other virus transmission is the best strategy for staying healthy. After learners have completed this course, they should be able to identify general preventive measures for virus transmission, as well as strategies specific to COVID-19.
-
We will expect that all staff will stay home and will not participate in CLUBLIFE events when they are sick, running a fever, or someone else at home is sick.
Personal Hygiene
-
There will be an established “Before” and “After” Handwashing or Sanitizing Station at each Event.
-
All participants must wear a face covering at events, unless they fall into one of the following exception categories:
-
Are fully vaccinated persons;
-
Are younger than 2 years old;
-
Cannot medically tolerate a face mask;
-
Are eating or drinking while seated in a designated area or at a private residence;
-
Are swimming;
-
Are receiving a medical or personal care service for which removal of the face mask is necessary;
-
Are asked to temporarily remove a face mask for identification purposes;
-
Are communicating with someone who is deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing and whose ability to see the mouth is essential to communication;
-
Are actively engaged in a public safety role, including but not limited to law enforcement, firefighters, or emergency medical personnel, and where wearing a face mask would seriously interfere in the performance of their public safety responsibilities;
-
Are engaging in a religious service;
-
Are giving a speech for broadcast or to an audience, provided that the audience is at least 12 feet away from the speaker; or
-
Are engaging in an activity that requires removal of a mask not listed in another part of this section, and are in a facility that provides ventilation that meets or exceeds 60 ft3/min of outdoor airflow per person.
-
We will encourage all participants to cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash/sanitize their hands.
-
-
When participating in a CLUBLIFE event that takes place in the community at another place of business, CLUBLIFE staff and participants will follow the guidelines and recommendations of that business or organization.
-
All CLUBLIFE staff will continue to be required to wear a mask. Our organization and staff are required to follow Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules. As of 5/15/21, these rules have not relaxed employee requirements in regards to face masks.
-
We will encourage all participants to not touch their eyes, nose, and mouth.
-
We will expect that all staff and participants will stay home and will not participate in CLUBLIFE events when they are sick, running a fever, or someone else at home is sick.
Communication
-
Signage will be posted to help Staff and Participants remember to Stop the Spread of Germs.
-
CLUBLIFE Post COVID-19 Re-Engagement Policy will be sent to participants via email, social media, and available in-person at events until September 1, 2020.
-
Communication will be shared via email and social media when an event is cancelled, and or it is unsafe to be attending the event.
-
CLUBLIFE’s COVID-19 Re-engagement policy was updated on 5/15/21, following updated guidance from CDC and MDHHS in regards to face mask wearing. This was communicated out to staff, participants, and stakeholders via email and social media on 5/15/21.
